Dr. Amy Chi and Dr. Emily Allen

Dr. Amy Chi earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota’s College of Biological Sciences and went on to Dental School at the University of Minnesota. After receiving her DDS Degree in 2008, Amy pursued an elective residency at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis. At that time she was honored to serve Minnesota’s veterans and their dental needs.

Following residency Dr. Chi has been in private practice for over 18 years serving patients in the Twin Cities.  She was nominated Top Dentist by Minnesota Monthly.

Dr. Amy Chi enjoys all aspects of dentistry and treats patients of all ages and dental needs. She is committed to utilizing the latest dental techniques and materials. She participates in a variety of continuing education courses and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and The Minneapolis District Dental Society.

Amy and her husband Erick, an Edina native, live locally and are members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Amy and Erick enjoy spending time with their children Annie and Jack, being outdoors, traveling, and relaxing with family and friends.  

Dr. Emily Allen joined our practice in July of 2022, and in 2024 became a partner alongside Dr. Chi. She has been practicing family dentistry for a number of years, previously for a group practice in Saint Paul. We love having her in our private practice in Eden Prairie and Edina. Her patients appreciate her gentle touch and artistic skills that improve smiles. 

Dr. Emily Allen first studied bioproducts and biosystems engineering at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. After her undergraduate degree, she completed her doctor of dental surgery program at the University of Michigan. She loves transforming smiles and caring for long-term dental health of our patients. She participates in a variety of continuing education courses and is a member of the American Dental Association, and Minnesota Dental Association. Dr. Emily grew up in Minnetonka and currently lives in the western suburbs with her husband Nate and their dog Asher.  In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, being outdoors, and going for walks with her dog.
